JOB BRIEF
We are looking for an experienced and well-organized individual to drive sales and new business development for GreenSlate. The successful candidate will handle creating new opportunities through research, networking, marketing efforts, and leveraging existing company relationships. This candidate will demonstrate a consultative approach to drive new business and foster long-term relationships with both new and existing clients. An energetic, passionate, and sincere person will have success presenting the value of our firm and driving significant growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Execute on the GreenSlate playbook to drive new business, which includes managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting, lead generation, and qualification to negotiation and closing
- Travel up to 30% of the time nurturing leads largely located in the Los Angeles & New York markets
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual Sales Targets / Quotas
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, prospect/client lunches and dinners, and other events to foster relationships
- Understand prospect needs to effectively communicate value propositions of the full suite of GreenSlate solutions from payroll & production accounting to tax credit management, post accounting, & benefits
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to adjust strategies and stay ahead of the competition
- Build and maintain strong, client relationships through regular communication, account management, and consultative sales techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product and client application solutions to ensure client success and satisfaction.
- Utilize HubSpot CRM software daily to track sales activities, manage pipeline and ensure accurate reporting
- Provide Quarterly Business Review reports to management for visibility into accurate sales forecasts
WHO YOU ARE
- 5+ years experience in middle-market software sales
- Proven experience executing sales playbooks and utilizing sales tools / CRM to facilitate efficient sales
- Los Angeles, CA market preferred
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient communicator both written and verbal; in person and virtual
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Problem Solving - Able to articulate our solutions based on client needs
- The ability to deal with high volumes and work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred but not required

COMPENSATION RANGE
Starting base salary will be in the range of $75,000 - $95,000 annually, with the anticipated total compensation package with On Target Earnings (OTE) in the range of $175,000 to $195,000 (uncapped).
