Business Development Manager
JOB BRIEF
We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This is a newly created position focused on driving new business opportunities in the TV and Film production space. You’ll identify and pursue new clients, respond to inbound sales inquiries, support enterprise deals, and optimize our CRM systems to fuel company growth.
This is a fully remote role, but you must be able to work core business hours aligned to the Los Angeles time zone (Pacific Time).

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Team Leadership
- Build and manage a small team of business development representatives
- Establish scalable processes that connect lead generation, qualification, and deal creation
- Collaborate across teams to maintain alignment between sales, marketing, and production units
Lead Generation & Targeting
- Identify prospective clients and partners using research, industry intel, and networking
- Maintain and expand our contact and production database within HubSpot
- Ensure potential opportunities are captured, vetted, and routed efficiently
Enterprise Sales Support
- Partner with senior sales leadership to pursue high-value enterprise accounts
- Conduct research, manage follow-ups, and help develop proposals for deals in progress
- Contribute to pipeline tracking and forecasting
- Support sales team members by creating proposals and term sheets for new projects
Inbound Inquiry Management
- Respond to and qualify inbound production inquiries quickly and effectively
- Manage smaller-scale production opportunities through to close
- Nurture relationships with repeat clients to encourage future collaboration
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot
- Support reporting initiatives, including data integrity audits and performance tracking
WHO YOU ARE
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Knowledge of production workflow, stakeholders, and entertainment studio structure
- Experience with managing a team and creating cross-organizational processes
- Proven proficiency with HubSpot CRM (or comparable platform)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities independently
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a remote environment
- Experience in the entertainment or production industry strongly preferred

SALARY RANGE:
$85,000 – $100,000
